I've never claimed to be very Pinoy. I haven't been to the Philippines since I was about 8 years old. And until last week in San Francisco, I had never been to Jollibee. Well that visit inspired me to finally get some here in Vegas.
The verdict? The fried chicken was OK. The corn was good. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant. But the spaghetti was frakin awesome! I used to hate Filipino style sweet spaghetti sauce. I still like the tartness of a good Bolognese, but I am totally down with Filo spaghetti.
By the way, I spent $14 on this food spread. I figured I didn't want to have to go back to try other things, so I tried to get it all out of the way now. The ONE thing that I would definitely go back for? That Banana Langka Pie. OMG. The Peach Mango Pie was pretty good, but the Banana Langka is absolutely amazing.
