I'm trying to look for objects that might make a good abstract photograph. I lit this basket from the inside and just shot it straight on from the side. The result is decent enough. What I really want is a macro lens. I'm not in a position to buy one right now, but I discovered the trick where you mount a lens backwards. How did I not know about that before? I ordered a $13 reversing ring for my 50mm lens. We'll see how that works out when it arrives.
