July 25 - Cathedral Rock



Josh and I did a late morning hike up at Mt Charleston. We decided on Cathedral Rock. A few minutes into it, we came across an alternate route. Although it was much steeper and slightly slippery, it turned out to be a shortcut. It proved worthwhile because we came across a refreshing little waterfall on the way up. It wasn't very hot (about 80 degrees as opposed to 100+ in Vegas), but standing by that waterfall felt so good - like a natural mister.

The photo above is an HDR. I deliberately kept the "HDR-ness" to a minimum. The photo below is nothing special. I just wanted to document the waterfall. :)
